Ross County 3 Stirling Albion 1 Ross County secured their first home win of the season with a 3-1 win over Stirling. The home team went ahead in the 22nd minute through Garry Wood, who placed his left-footed shot into the bottom corner from just inside the area. County extended their lead in the 38th minute through Scott Morrison's wonderful long-range free kick. But three minutes later, Gordon Smith pulled a goal back for Stirling with an unstoppable effort from 25-yards. Five minutes after half-time, Ross County went further ahead as Wood grabbed his second of the game with a low drive. And Wood could have completed his hat-trick late on, but he was denied by a good save from Stirling goalkeeper Callum Reidford.
