Ross County 5 Keith 1
County grabbed three late goals at Victoria Park, Dingwall, on Saturday to turn a narrow 2-1 advantage into a thumping 5-1 victory over the Maroons--a result which convinced the Keith manager that this could be County's year.
He said: "The score flattered them a bit, but at this stage of the season, in their position, results are more important than performances.
"They didn't play particularly well, I'm sure Bobby Wilson is more than satisfied to take three points and keep yjeir two point lead intact, because that small edge is what will probably win the title for them."
A 13th minute opener from Gordon CONNELLY had County ahead at half time and Keith levelled through EDWARDS seven minutes after the break, but Brian GRANT restored County's lead in 70 minutes.
Further counters from Johnston BELLSHAW, substitute Jamie MCPHERSON and GRANT tied up the points for the league leaders.
