Ross County 2 Wick Academy 0
Ross County cruised to victory in their Scottish Qualifying Cup second round tie with Wick Academy at Victoria Park, Dingwall, on Saturday, but will find Huntly a different kettle of fish in the third round, for the Strathbogie side were comfortable 7-0 winners over Rothes at Rothes.
Wick kept County at bay for most of the first period, but in the 24th minute full back SOMERVILLE showed his versatility, when he came upfield to play a neat one-two with Ferries on the edge of the penalty area and then unleashed a fierce drive which keeper Budge could only help on its way into top right corner of the net.
FERRIES himself scored the second counter in the 49th minute with a superb first time volley from a Williamson cross.
