Match Report	Match Report Report by Mike Tremlett for the Press & Journal. Ross County 2 Caledonian FC 2 win for County 4-3 on penalties after extra time. Caley and Ross County slugged it out all the way to the wire at Kingsmills Park last night in a pulsating Tennents Highland League Cup first round replay that epitomised cup football at its very best. After 120 minutes the score was tied at 2-2, then County keeper Mike Ure saved a Roddy Davidson penalty with the shoot-out score at 1-1. He followed that by saving Caley's next effort from Colin Mitchell to give County a 3-1 lead so that when Robbie Williamson missed County's fourth penalty it didn't really matter and the Dingwall men ran out 4-3 penalty winners. County came out of the starting blocks and threw everything at Caley, only to go a goal down in 10 minutes when Mitchell put URQUHART through to beat Ure from 18 yards. The equaliser came in 20 minutes when Robbie WILLIAMSON stole in on the blind side to power a header past Clark from a Ferries corner. Steve Polson's bravery had Caley ahead on the stroke of half-time. From a corner, Danny Macdonald had Ure struggling with a header at the far post, but when the County keeper managed to palm the ball clear POLSON headed the ball over the line only to stun himself in a collision with a goalpost. Caley keeper Clark had two frights in a minute before FERRIES popped up on the left flank for the first time in the match to dance inside Roddy Davidson before bending a 16 yard shot past Clark to send the game into extra time. Both sides could have won in the extra 30 minutes, but the best chance fell to County when Gary Campbell cracked a 30 yard dipping volley against the Caley bar. County now have a home tie against Brora Rangers Tomorrow.
