Forres Mechanics 1 Ross County 2 County continued their revival after their disastrous showing against Caley in the Qualifying Cup semi-final when they travelled to meet mercurial Forres Mechanics last Saturday. Never an easy venue to collect points, Mosset Park has been the burial ground of many aspirations so County's narrow victory underlines they are still very much in contention to retain the championship they won so well last term. Twin strikers Alan DUFF and Brian GRANT were at it again to give County a 2-0 lead with Forres replying through a penalty. |
