| Match Report | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Ross County 6 Fort William 2 Recalled striker Alan Duff netted four goals for Ross County against Fort William last night. Within a minute Ferries let DUFF away and the centre drove home from five yards. DUFF hit the post in 14 minutes and it was no surprise when he got a second in 24 minutes after a Wilson corner was headed on to the striker by Bellshaw. Five minutes later GRANT put County in easy street when he calmly lobbed the keeper and in 34 minutes DUFF headed his hat-trick. Four minutes after the turn, defender Gary CAMPBELL got into the act, striding up to crash the ball home from 20 yards. In 61 minutes DUFF hit his fourth from a Ferries cross, but 10 minutes later JACKSON pulled one back for Fort and with four minutes left MacBEATH got their second. |
