| Match Report | Match Report Report by W.W. for the North Star. Fraserburgh 1 Ross County 2 Fraserburgh is never a happy hunting ground for any team in the realm, but County kept with a workmanlike win over the Bellslea Park side, albeit a narrow one at the seaside last Saturday. Scoring hero of the piece was two-goal Brian GRANT with one in eight minutes--four minutes after the Broch had taken a shock lead through Andy LAVELLE--and another some six minutes before the interval. The strikes were enough to give County the points and keep them on their winning way. It was interesting to note that top scorer Alan Duff was back after injury and this is some consolation for the loss of central defender Scott Lemmon who, sadly, is going to have to put his feet up for some considerable time with that double break of his right leg |
