Fraserburgh 1 Ross County 3
Ross County's 3-1 win over Fraserburgh at Bellslea on Saturday has left Broch manager Charlie Duncan in a cup final quandary.
"I still don't know what my best 13 is for Saturday's final," he said yesterday as he reflected on a second successive home league defeat.
"We missed John Thomson, although we know he won't be available for the final anyway. Ronald Smith was sitting in the stand with flu, but Doug Ellis played for an hour and Paul Keith got the last 20 minutes.
"Being beaten for the second game in a row at home has left us in the bottom half of the table and our performances haven't made picking a team for the final any easier.
"I'm annoyed at losing to Ross County--even though they are far and away the best side we have played this season. I would have settled for a draw with 10 minutes to go, but we gave away two goals at the end and came out with nothing.
Broch had their noses in front through Davie ROBERTSON's 20th goal of the season, but Gordon CONNELLY levelled five minutes before the interval.
When the second half began County took charge to wrap up the points through goals by Alan DUFF and Scott LEMMON.
