Ross County 2 Fraserburgh 1
Ross County hotshot Brian GRANT brought his scoring tally this season to 42 goals on Saturday--and took North soccer to major scoring milestone.
His strike on the half-hour saw North soccer reach the 1,200-goal mark in all competitions.
The former Forfar hitman headed home a Gordon Connelly corner to cancel out a 14th minute opener from Fraserburgh's Steve SUTHERLAND.
Striker Alan DUFF--the other half of County's devastating double act--reached the 35-goal mark when he rattled home the winner 20 minutes from time.
County Assistant manager Don Cowie said: "We dropped out of the game for spells here and there and missed a penalty along the way. If we had taken the chances we made early on we could have made things easier for ourselves."
County, who trail league leaders Caley by four points, travel to Huntly on Wednesday evening to play the game they have in hand over the Blues and are on course for a title show-down with Caley in Dingwall this weekend.
