Ross County 5 Rothes 3 Champions Ross County were made to work all the way by lowly Rothes and needed two late goals to kill off the adventurous Speysiders late on to win 5-3. Brian GRANT and Alan DUFF had County 2-0 up in 10 minutes. but Gary JOHNSTON and Gordon DUNCAN had the match level at 2-2 at the interval. GRANT grabbed his 25th goal of the season to put County back in front after the break, but Rothes fought back to level again through Davie SIMPSON on the hour. DUFF and CONNELLY scored a goal each in the last 10 minutes. |
