Deveronvale 0 Ross County 2 League champions Ross County maintained the flying start to their title defence with a 2-0 away win over Deveronvale. A goal by full back Chris SOMERVILLE in six minutes and another by striker Brian GRANT in 51 minutes--his fifth goal of the season--saw County comfortably beat a Vale side who have yet to collect a league point. "We didn't play particularity well and never really dominated Deveronvale," said County manager Bobby Wilson, who fielded a side missing four regulars--Alan Duff, Scott Lemmon, Albert Allan and Billy Ferries. |
