| Match Report | Match Report Report by Mike Tremlett for the Press & Journal. Peterhead 0 Ross County 2 Ross County bounced back from conceding the Press and Journal Highland League title to pick up only their second win since Saturday, December 12, at Recreation Park. Their 2-0 triumph came courtesy of a goal on the half hour from Alan DUFF and a second half counter from Gary ROSS. It was something of a milestone for manager Bobby Wilson. He said: "That was my first win at Recreation Park, the only ground I haven't had a win on since I took over at Dingwall five seasons ago. "That was satisfying but it was even more satisfying to see us playing reasonably well after seeing our interest in the league championship killed off. "I think I've seen better Peterhead sides in the past but it looks as though Ian Wilson has them moving in the right direction because they didn't make it easy for us." |
