Ross County 5 Stirling Albion 1
Ross County striker George Shaw will be out to break former club Partick Thistle's hearts at Victoria Park this weekend to guarantee the Dingwall club First Division football next season.
Shaw, who hit a double in County's 5-1 home rout of Stirling Albion on Saturday, said: "We can clinch promotiton if we beat Partick here next week.
"It's going to be an incredibly hard game and I'll get pelters in it. As soon as I came to Ross County, Partick fans started giving me no end of stick."
"The Partick fans have all got very short memories I gave them the best years of my life. They haven't beaten Celtic at Parkhead since I left.
Shaw's double, one a dream lob after a great Derek Ferguson through ball and further goals from Derek Holmes, Brian Irvine and John McGlashan nudged the Dingwall side tantalisingly close to realising their promotion dream.
Alan Aitken grabbed Albion's late consolation.
