| Comments | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Ross County 0 Livingston 2 Livingston gave Ross County a lesson in finishing as they moved back to the top of the First Division, despite a far from inspired display at Victoria Park. County were without top scorer Alex Bone, who is suspended until the end of the year, and Steve Ferguson moved up front to partner Derek Holmes. But the makeshift attack failed to do much damage and the Livvy defence was in control throughout while, up front, the Lions took their chances. Alex Burns scored the opener in the 12th minute after some sloppy defending and David Bingham notched his 13th goal of the season nine minutes from the end with a glancing header. The visitors recalled Steve Tosh and Burns after the disappointment of their Challenge Cup final defeat by Airdrie and both players played a big part. County boss Neale Cooper said: "We talked about the danger of Bingham at corners and they scored from just such a move." |
