| Comments | Match Report Report from the Green Final. Ross County 1 Dundee 2 Ritchie forced a first minute corner for Dundee before Furphy brought off a Flying save from Thomson at the other end. Another great one-handed save from Thomson prevented Duff shooting County ahead. Ross County took the lead with an bizarre goal in 14 minutes. Home keeper Steve Hutchison cleared up field and his opposite number Barry Thomson could only watch in amazement as the ball bounced over his head into the net. A Connelly header forced a great save from Thomson. Johnston Bellshaw put Somerville through but the right back shot inches wide. County were the better side in the first half and Thomson saved well in quick succession from Grant and Duff. Dundee took command right after the interval. In 48 minutes Andy Carghill rose to head home an equaliser from a left-wing cross. And in 59 minutes, the Dens Park side went ahead when Paul Ritchie hit home from five yards after Hamilton had done the spadework. |
