| Comments | Match Report Report by Mike Tremlett for the Press & Journal. Ross County 0 Montrose 3 Promotion hopefuls Montrose put a dent in Ross County's ambitions at Victoria Park, Dingwall, last night. The Gable Endies, looking to join Third Division 2, coasted to a 3-0 win over sad County. Goals from Neil McAvoy and Craig Cooper in the first half had Montrose in the driving seat at the interval and second half substitute Shaun Smith weighed in with a third to seal the Angus side's win. That lifted Montrose into second place above County and East Stirling. County now need to win all of their remaining games and hope for a favour or two else-where. County boss Bobby Wilson said: "I am particularly disappointed that so many of our players had an off night together, but the result was more of a dent than a disaster. "I'm pretty sure we can bounce back," |
