| Comments | Match Report Report from the Press & Journal. Alloa Athletic 0 Ross County 0 Loan defender Mark Perry made his first senior start in almost six weeks when he turned out for Ross County at Alloa. The Aberdeen players said: "I enjoyed it. We had a lot of possession and were unlucky with a few shots that dropped the wrong way, although they also had their chances." The Wasps missed the best chance of the game when Ian Little rattled a 26th-minute penalty against the crossbar after Nicky Walker had been harshly penalised for a foul on Colin Nish. Alloa also went close in a dour affair in the 78th minute when substitute Willie Irvine's shot deflected off John Fraser and rebounded off the visitors' post. However, County might have snatched it two minutes from the end when Brian Irvine's header was cleared off the line by Nish. |
